Verizon's Cybersafe Philly program will hold its next free cybersafety summit at Cherry Hill High School East in Cherry Hill with special guest, Tina Meier, one of the nation's most sought-after speakers on the topics of cyberbullying and cybersafety. Tragically, Meier's daughter, Megan, took her life in 2006 at age 13 after becoming victim to a cyberbullying attack orchestrated by an adult and teenager who lived down the street from her family. With the danger of cyberbullying and online predators facing area children daily, Verizon has pledged to educate parents and students across the Greater Philadelphia Region about the importance of proactive and preventative measures to ensure the safe and effective use of technology. This is the fifth of 10 planned Cybersafe Philly summits across southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. All summits will be free and open to all parents in the community.
