Join the National Liberty Museum on Monday, January 15th and explore how we can all “Live Like a Hero.” This pay-what-you-wish day will include access to the museum, civil rights-inspired activities and a special screening of Mr. Civil Rights: Thurgood Marshall and the NAACP. Marshall, a civil rights icon is known as a prominent lawyer who served as the first African-American Justice of the Supreme Court. The film, shown on MLK Day at 11:00am and 3:00pm, explores Thurgood Marshall and Brown v. Board of Education.
The film will be shown at the Museum (321 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19106) at 11:00am and 3:00pm on January 15th. The National Liberty Museum will also offer a Civil Rights Era-themed scavenger hunt and family-friendly crafts.
