The Giving Trees

'The Giving Trees' will be Nashville North Studios' fifth art show this year with an artist reception on the Fourth Friday, September 23th, 6-7:30 pm. This themed show will celebrate all the trees, from our smallest to our grandest...by the beach and adorning the valleys and mountains. Fall is their time to show their color so we have red trees, green trees, purple trees and all kinds of tree related items for your enjoyment. I think I just saw a painting with a tree and a truck! And we just added a stone carver...you will love it! The exhibition will include original music, paintings, photographs, stone carvings, note cards and clay-works. All of the participating local artists in this exhibition are extremely talented and are members of the Ocean City Fine Arts League, The Ocean City Arts Center, The Renaissance Center for the Arts and The Noyes Museum. Some of the artists show their work around the United States! The music for the opening will feature Nicole Gordon, a musician with local ties who has written and performed her original songs from Los Angeles, California to Nashville, Tennessee and now in the tri state area. Nicole has had over 50 of her original songs placed in film and television shows. Jim Allison says of Nicole; 'She is a tremendously talented singer/songwriter with a sweet and soulful voice!'
