Story Concert Series: Tales of Courtship & Marital Mayhem | Thursday June 8th, 2017 | 6 – 8pm | Featuring Denise McCormack, Ingrid Bohn and Judy England-McCarthy of the Patchwork Storytelling Guild
Join The Center for Art in Wood and The Patchwork Storytelling Guild on Thursday, June 8th, 6 – 8pm, for Tales of Courtship & Marital Mayhem. Enjoy an evening of listing to stories inspired by our current exhibition SMOOTH: Mangle Boards of Northern Europe & Contemporary Concepts while sipping a glass of wine. This event offers an enlightened experience of the exhibition through the stories performed by the Patchwork Storytelling Guild artists, Denise McCormack, Ingrid Bohn and Judy England-McCarthy. Wine and light refreshments will be served to compliment the affair. Tickets are $15 ($10 for members) and include automatic entry to a drawing for quality local artisan home goods. The winner will receive a prize valued at $150 and will be announced at the end of the evening. The Center for Art in Wood is a nonprofit arts organization. All proceeds benefit future programming, education and exhibitions.
