Foundation's annual Strides for Scholarships 5K Race and Fitness Walk on Saturday, Nov. 2, at
our Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell.
Register by Oct. 18, and entry fees are $25 for general registrants, $15 for MCCC students
and staff and $5 for children, 12 years and younger. Entry fees increase by $5 after that date.
The first 200 people registered will receive free long-sleeve t-shirts. Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. and the race and walk begin at 8:30 a.m.
The course consists of mostly flat pathways around the College's beautiful campus.
Refreshments, raffles and an award ceremony will be held following the race. Prizes will be
awarded to the first, second and third place overall male and female winners. Awards will also be
presented to the top runners in several categories, include male/female age groups, students and
alumni.
All proceeds benefit the Strides for Scholarships Fund that provides financial support for our
deserving and talented students. The need for scholarships continues to grow each year, and
events like this one help the fund to grow and ensure our students' completion and success.
