Cinco De Mayo
“Mission De Mayo” Cinco de Mayo is not a celebration of Mexican Independence but rather a commemoration of a battle that took place in Puebla, Mexico between the French troops of Napoleon III and a Mexican army led by General Ignacio Zaragoza. Although the Mexican troops were outnumbered three to one, they were victorious. Their defeat of the French marked the beginning of the end for European occupation in Mexico. Come on over to Mission Grill where we'll be celebrating all night with $5 specials on Flautas, Queso Fundido, and Southwestern Flatbreads. We'll also be providing $4 Tequila Shots,$4 Margaritas, and $4 Sangrias (at bar and communal tables only)! The fun begins at 5pm so come join us for some authentic Mexican music, Southwestern cuisine, and a drink to wash it all down. “Mission De Mayo” is where it's at this year!
