Have you ever wanted to grow your own fruit tree? This is the time of year to think about it! Join Farmer Norm on March 11th for a ride out to the orchard to cover pruning with a question and answer session to get you on your way to a fruitful success!
Norm has been the Farm Manager at Linvilla for 25 years. He and his team maintain over 50 acres of fruit trees. Each tree gets pruned by hand every winter for the upcoming season. Norm can offer information about Apples, Peaches, Pears, Cherries, Blueberries, and Raspberries. As well as topics of planting, fertilizing, and pest control! Norm asks that you come with questions and ready to learn!
Attendees will meet out front of the Garden Center, load a benched wagon, and make their way out to the orchard.
