La Feria de la Familia

Feria de la Familia is a free and exciting family friendly event that plans to bring together the Delaware Valley Latino community for a fun filled afternoon. The first ever Feria de la Familia in Philadelphia will feature Emmy nominated Dr. Ana Maria Polo from Telemundo?s hit show Caso Cerrado and Penelope Menchaca from the popular dating show 12 Corazones. The event is designed to provide information, services and entertainment to the Hispanic community. As well as provide tools and information on education, health, financial planning, earth-friendly initiatives, labor-related issues, immigration as well as information about available products and services among other areas of interest. Some of the activities include free health screenings, salsa lessons, contests, giveaways, live music, entertainment, cooking demonstrations, a children?s area featuring a moon bounce, art workshops, face paintings and various other activities.
