Join us Wednesday January 14th as we kick off our weekly beer dinner series called 'Suds Sessions'. Enjoy an educational and fun experience in our cozy fireside lounge.
This week we'll have special guest Matt from Troegs Brewery in Hersey PA walk us through 4 courses of beers from the brewery, paired with dishes from our Chef at Kings Oak.
Troegs Beers this session features
First Course:
Dreamweaver Wheat (4.8% abv)- typically used with lighter more delicate dishes, think fish or salad- features notes of banana and peppery clove.
2nd Course
Blizzard of Hops Winter IPA (6.4%)- Piney resin from the hops with notes of pineapple, mango, and passionfruit. Pairs well with strong flavors like garlic, onion, and ginger.
Entree
Hopback Amber (6%)- Grilling, broiling, sauteing, deep frying- all create caramelized flavors that go well with Ambers. Has a malty sweet backbone with a touch of bittering hops.
Desert
Javahead Coffee Stout (7.5%)- chocolate and coffee- great dessert course beer.
Each ticket includes the four course beer & food pairing, plus a complimentary Troegs glass to take with you, we'll also have a raffle with Troegs prizes. Tickets also include complimentary membership to our Kings Oak suds club.
Sessions are limited to 25 tickets per session. Suds Session is a weekly series of beer dinners starting Wednesday January 14th and continuing every wednesday with different featured breweries each week.
