Hands-on attention is given to students looking to learn the skills of this quickly growing trade of hosting. Many acting jobs require a professional delivery of a spokesperson or hosting personality. There is an abundance of work in the Philadelphia market for cable TV, podcasts, commercials, industrial films, and much more! 70% of the work here is for Hosting and Spokesperson roles. Why not tap into it by learning the skills on how to host a TV segment or promote a product/service.
This class will provide insight into the industry, and help you develop your own on-camera personality and interview technique. Find out how to earn a living in the entertainment industry by just being yourself and developing your own style. Learn to read from teleprompter methods (most acting jobs today require this skill). Class is limited is 10.
About the Instructor:
Stephanie Humphrey has years of on-camera experience in a variety of different outlets. She was a traffic reporter for CBS3 Eyewitness News, and is currently an on-air guest on the QVC shopping channel. Stephanie has interviewed celebrities for red carpet movie premieres and has appeared as a spokesperson for the pharmaceutical industry in too many videos to count! With a background in engineering, Stephanie has also been able to brand herself as a Tech-Life Expert, and has appeared on HuffPostLive and Al-Jazeera America speaking about technology topics. Over the past year, Stephanie has been seen regularly on-air with FOX-29's 'Good Day Philadelphia' - catch her most Monday mornings for tech tips to make your life easier!
