Acting For Mature Actors This class was created for actors age 40 to seniors at the request of many mature actors in the Philadelphia area. It is not being offered anywhere else in the Philadelphia market and is meant to help mature actors, both beginner and advanced, dive deeper into the acting industry. This 4 week class is intended to help you understand what kind of work middle aged and older actors should be looking for in this market and how to stand out during the casting process when auditioning for roles.
What type of work is available and makes sense for you in this market? Where can you find this work? How do you keep booking work in an ever changing industry as an older actor? If you have these questions and more and want to learn further important steps in how to successfully tackle the industry in Philadelphia as a mature actor, this class is meant for you. Taught by a director/producer, Palmer Enfield, this course will give you invaluable insight into how to get started, be successful, and most importantly have fun as a mature actor in this business.
Meet the Instructor:
Palmer Enfield is a producer-director and the owner ofRedMaiden, a boutique production company. She brings 20+ years of experience as both a producer and director having worked with actors on a wide range of productions including broadcast commercials, music videos, corporate video, television andfeature films such as 'Emmett's Mark' and 'Money for Nothing.'
Palmer has directed mostly high-end, commercial, and corporate experiences. She has directed TV and web commercials for leading brand name consumer products in the US in conjunction with national and local advertising agencies as well as direct-to-client projects.
In this workshop she'll provide insight into the industry from a producer-director's perspective.
