This one day workshop will cover five phases: The basics of voice acting, technique, and preparation as well as how to USE your voice. Types of careers in voice acting (commercials, audiobooks, documentaries, animation, web, interactive media, etc.)

•  How to make a demo and bio and submit them for work using the Internet.
•  Use your own computer and microphone to record a quality demo at home.
•  Put your voice and skills to the test (record a script in this workshop and receive a copy of your work to start your very own demo!)

Jim Cravero is a recent GRAMMY Award winning producer and two-time GRAMMY Nominee. Jim is also the owner of East Coast Recording Company, which is a state-of-the-art recording studio located minutes from Philadelphia. He is one of the top in the industry when it comes to voiceovers and perfecting the quality of sound. His credits include voiceover work for Johnson and Johnson, Toyota, Delmarva Power and The Michener Museum just to name a few. Jim has also had the honor of recording artists such as Julian Lennon, Russell Simons, Gene Shay and Uncle Rock.
