Acting Outside of Hollywood The Entertainment Industry has markets all around the world, with the epicenters being famously known as LA and NY. However, there is an abundance or work for actors everywhere, especially in the Philadelphia market!
This seminar is geared towards actors that are looking to form lasting acting careers outside of Hollywood, and for those actors who are making the transition from the LA/NY world to a new, smaller market.
This seminar will give you insider tips and insight into what it's like to work with actors both in Hollywood and outside of it. It will detail the difference between working in both markets and how to successfully start or continue your career in this market. With more and more film productions being lured away from Hollywood with the rise of new digital media and affrodable technology turning more people into filmmakers, there has never been a better time to be an actor outside of Hollywood!
Avoid rookie mistakes. Learn good business habits. Master the where's, why's, and how's of making a living in the industry outside of Hollywood and how to build acting credits outside of Hollywood. Think you can cut it as an actor? Think you have to move to LA? Think again! This workshop will help you reach for the stars and keep you grounded, here in your own backyard!
Meet the Instructor:
Palmer Enfield is a producer-director and the owner ofRedMaiden, a boutique production company. She brings 20+ years of experience as both a producer and director having worked with actors on a wide range of productions including broadcast commercials, music videos, corporate video, television andfeature films such as 'Emmett's Mark' and 'Money for Nothing.'
Palmer has directed mostly high-end, commercial, and corporate experiences. She has directed TV and web commercials for leading brand name consumer products in the US in conjunction with national and local advertising agencies as well as direct-to-client projects.
In this workshop she'll provide insight into the industry from a producer-director's perspective.
