HOW TO BE HAPPY IN UNHAPPY TIMES
We are living in times of massive global upheaval and uncertainty. Is it possible to be happy in a world overrun with so much pain, injustice, sickness, and war? Yes. According to Buddha, not only is it possible, but through learning to increase and stabilize our own experience of happiness, we also increase our ability to help those around us.
During this talk, Kadam Morten will show us how we can tap into deeply peaceful and positive minds through the practice of meditation. Just by beginning to gain experience of these beautiful, rich internal states opens us to an extraordinary sense of our own potential. Happiness is possible, both for ourselves and others, and even now, during these difficult times. Moreover, because these times are generally regarded as ‘unhappy’, it makes it all the more important to nurture such authentic happiness now, so that we can help bring it to others, and to our world!
Everyone welcome.
