The Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop is kicking off its fifth season on Thursday, March 24 starting promptly at 9:45 a.m. Together with City Representative Sheila Hess, PHALSH partners, and Philadelphia's proud mascots, including Phoebe Phantic, attendees celebrate the return of the PHLASH service with a celebratory send-off and photo opportunity. All visitors and locals will be able to ride PHLASH free of charge on opening day. Free soft pretzels will also be given away.
ABOUT PHILLY PHLASH
The Philly PHLASH Downtown Bus Loop is the quick, convenient, and affordable way to access 22 key destinations throughout Philadelphia. Its route travels in a continuous loop from the Delaware Waterfront to Fairmount Park, providing service to each stop every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. The PHLASH is only $2 per ride or $5 all day. Tickets are available onboard with exact change (cash only), at any Visitor Center location, or online. Children 4 and under, senior citizens, SEPTA and STAMP pass holders always ride free. All PHLASH vehicles are temperature controlled and wheelchair accessible. The Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop seasonal transit program is managed by the Independence Visitor Center Corporation (IVCC).
