Are you a business or technology professional with an interest in the arts and a desire to make a difference in the community? Is the vibrant arts and culture scene one of the reasons you live and work in the Philadelphia region? If so, Business Volunteers for the Arts and Technology Connectors are the perfect opportunity to develop your professional skills while lending your business expertise to a nonprofit arts organization.
Our Spring orientation will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 1 pm to 5 pm. The afternoon session orients new volunteers to the region's cultural sector and introduces them to the volunteer experience through conversations with seasoned volunteers and arts managers who have recently completed a project.
After you've completed the orientation, we'll match you with an arts organization on a clearly defined project that aligns with your area of expertise. We'll stay in touch with you throughout the project, offering counsel and resources to help both you and the organization to succeed.
