In this six-week class, students will learn the fundamentals of playwriting with a special focus on short plays. You’ll learn how to build a producible play from an idea or a sketch, how to tailor scripts for stage, radio and other formats, and how to expand a short script into a full-length work. By the end of this course, students will have a completed 10-minute script ready for submission to competition and festivals.
