Calling all Actors!!! DENIM PR and Anansi Studios will be holding a huge casting call for 'The Bartender' Film, directed by RT Herwig, written by Akin B. Ware on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 7pm. Join us at GiGi's Restaurant and Lounge for a Casting Party that will take the pressure off of auditioning for a movie! THE BARTENDER is an Anansi Studios film, presented as a high quality film serial, premiering online in monthly 5 minute installments until the entire feature length story is told. Here are the roles we are casting for. The Four Corners are the four henchmen of Mr. Ruthless (George Ware) the boss and trainer of the Bartender. They accompany him at all times. They are dangerous looking criminal types, very well dressed, but obviously from the streets. Male / Female, African American, Caucasian, Asian, 30-40 Stiletto is a young woman who is rescued from a life as a sex slave overseas by the Bartender. She is a dynamic ultra-chic super-sexy lady who rocks stiletto heels and wields Stiletto knives. African American / Mixed Race, 20-30 The Bartender is a skilled, experienced assassin who has an unusual cover, tending bar in an exclusive high powered lounge. She is of Asian/ mixed heritage. We are looking for a dynamic personality with either martial arts or athletic experience. Female, Asian / Mixed Race, 22-30 Mr. Smith is a handsome, cold hearted government agent who is constantly formulating Machiavellian schemes and is quick to discard those who have outlived their usefulness. His goal is nothing short than the transformation of the Nine Legendary Killers into the hit squad of the U.S. government. Male, Caucasian / Mixed Race, 25-35 Jane Grey is a skilled artist / musician and martial artists that makes one mistake and finds the Bartender hired to hunt her down.
