Glamorama - A Luxurious Burlesque Experience!
Glamorama is a luxurious burlesque experience brought to you by Miss V! Step past the red velvet rope into our decadent parties and enjoy an immersive evening of interesting nightlife characters, a swanky atmosphere, themed cocktails, and live performances from some of the top burlesque, drag, and cabaret artists working today! Dress to impress and be a part of the experience yourself!
For our Sept 14, 2023 experience, we are thrilled to take the stage in B. West, Franky Bradley’s most elegant and newest cabaret space! Enjoy live performances by:
Mika Romantic – Mika is an international multi award-winning burlesque performer and pin-up model from a sleepy little hamlet in Eastern Pennsylvania. Mika made her triumphant Burlesque debut in New York City of Spring 2012. Since late 2012, Mika has been the artistic director of Lehigh Valley’s premier burlesque troop. In 2015, she was named one of the sexiest acts to follow by GQ Magazine UK and took home three titles at the Burlypicks Competition, including World Champion. She has been a headliner and feature for some of the hottest events in Burlesque, including Sundance Film Festival, Theatre Bizarre, and many more.
She starred in the short-film documentary, "Small Town Diamonds, which debuted at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival and, in 2018, was crowned "Duchess of Viva Las Vegas." Mika closed out Spring 2019 with a bang, giving special performances at the World-Famous Burlesque Showcase of Viva Las Vegas 22, hosted by legendary director, John Waters. She also performed with renowned trumpeter and band leader to Lady Gaga, Brian Newman, at the show "After Dark," at Park MGM in Las Vegas.
Icon Ebony Fierce – Icon is a Philadelphia based performance artist that has one mission: to change people's perception of artistic expression one subculture at a time. Icon has a background in theatre, dance, and spoken word performance. Icon has been community organizing, curating events all throughout Philadelphia since 2012. Icon also specializes in burlesque, performance art, and drag. Their content includes body positivity, political/social issues, gender equality, etc. They are also a co-curator for festivals like Philadelphia Pride Festival, Outfest, Phreak N Queer, Hot Bits Film Festival, Snatcherella 3000, and more things always centering QTPOC people with an alternative point of view. Icon is currently a board member of the William Way Community Center and the Youth Program Manager at Galaei.
Ignacia – From the depth of a southern swamp, an ominously shiny bloom rose to charm their way into your hearts. Ignacia radiates the passion, boldness, and the charisma of their Caribbean heritage every time they hit the stage. This lustful beauty will leave you with a sense of mystification and unease with wonderfully balanced acts of class, wit, and raunch. Ignacia's eclectic and avant garde costuming accentuates every dramatic gesture, eliciting waves of emotion with every reveal. Their tropical, vibrant energy is sure to spark salacious thoughts with every hip swing and flirtatious wink. Strike a match and get ready to ignite your night!
Miss V – The Unknown Pleasure of Burlesque and current reigning queen of Kansas City Burlesque! Miss V has been setting the stage on fire at festivals across the country, when she’s not teaching fan dancing and stocking peels at the Philadelphia Burlesque Academy and Burlycon. She’s the producer of Glamorama and a member of the Lehigh Valley’s premier burlesque troop! Known for her extravagant costumes, she believes burlesque is an opportunity to create an intimate but fleeting fancy which she shares with the audience.
Necrosexual - The Necrosexual is the most electrifying man in corpse entertainment. He performs a wild hybrid of heavy metal comedy, live music, and burlesque. The Necrosexual describes his personality as “The Joan Rivers of Black Metal,” a moniker earned from interviewing the biggest names in the metal world on his YouTube channel for a decade. As a host, the Necrosexual has emceed events ranging from dive bars to graveyards, the Satanic Panic Burlesque Festival in Chicago, and countless shows at Franky Bradley's, beginning with their opening night show in 2015. Prepare to go one on one with the GRIM-1 for a Necrosexual Encounter you will never forget.
Nyx Night – Nyx Night is a recent BAD grad from the Philadelphia Burlesque Academy. A multi-disciplinary dancer, artist, and wellness facilitator, she seeks authenticity and connection as she moves through the shadows of the human experience. Inspired by the seen and unseen in life, come journey with this primordial being!
