Eastern State Penitentiary partners with local organizations to collect gifts for children who have a currently or recently incarcerated parent. Donate a new, unwrapped toy or children's book from November 26 through December 22, 2021 in exchange for a voucher for "Buy One, Get One Free" Daytime Tour Admission valid through December 31, 2022.
Donations of toys and books that support children’s imaginations, literacy skills, self-esteem, and creativity at any age are recommended. People may drop off donations during daytime tour hours, Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or Night Tours: Winter Holidays even if they are not planning to take a tour. Items can also be purchased online and shipped directly to the penitentiary.
