Businesswomen will find a host of business-building and personal development opportunities on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Women's Referral Network of Chester County (WRN) Be Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Business Women's Expo.
The day will start with a 9 to 10 a.m. "Using LinkedIn Strategically to Power Opportunities" workshop featuring Brynne Tillman, president of Business Development University. At 10 a.m., the vendor exhibition opens, showcasing the area's top businesses. The exhibitor floor is closed from noon to 1 p.m. during the luncheon keynote, "Take the Limits Off" "Get Unstuck and Become Unstoppable," by Joyce Dungee Proctor, president of Seminars by Joyce The Total You, Inc. The Expo floor will re-open from 1 to 4 p.m.
"What makes our Expo different is its focus on women in business, and women-run businesses," said WRN Special Events Chair Cheryl Wilder Krass of Alexemi Publishing. "Smart businesswomen will make new connections during the exhibitor showcase, and will learn how to dramatically move their businesses forward during our workshop and seminar.
The Tuesday, Sept. 10, event will be held at the Downingtown Country Club, 93 Country Club Dr. in Downingtown. The LinkedIn workshop is $10 and runs from 9 to 10 a.m.; the luncheon seminar is $30 and takes place from noon to 1 p.m.; the vendor showcase is free to attend and is open from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 4 p.m.
Only two sponsorships remain, and exhibit space and program ads are going fast. Investments vary, and may be found online at www.wrnchesco.com. Realizing the last week of August brings with it the start of school for some, last-minute vacations for others and the Labor Day holiday, the Women's Referral Network of Chester County (WRN) has extended the deadline for exhibitor space registration and sponsorships to Thursday, Sept. 5.
