On Saturday, November 16 it's a great night of music at over a dozen venues in Media for the 2013 Jazz By Night Celebration, sponsored by Media Business Authority and co-sponsored by WRTI-FM 90.1. Packed with great performers throughout the night, some highlights include the Bootsie Barnes Quartet, Johnny DeFrancesco Organ Trio, The New Kings of Rhythm, Phyllis Chapell with Steve Jewett and vocalist Paul Jost with pianist Dave Posmontier. The extensive lineup of talent is listed below that boasts one great act after the other.
Vineland's Jost and Cheltenham's Posmontier perform at The Towne House, 117 Veterans Square (Baker Street and Veterans Square) in two shows: 8:30 to 9:30 and 10 to 11 p.m. A sampling from their repertoire for the evening includes Waltz for Debby, The Days of Wine & Roses, If I Only Had a Brain, Alone together and many more.
