The Comcast Holiday Spectacular features special new surprises this year that make Philadelphia's festive and family-friendly holiday tradition bigger and better than ever.
A new Carol of the Bells is wondrous with its computer generated animation and the sounds of a 64-piece orchestra. Twelve animatronic snowmen, located throughout the lobby of Comcast Center, will provide the audience with a very special holiday surprise.
The joyful spirit of the season is experienced with Jingle Bell Rock, The Twelve Days of Christmas and The Nutcracker performed by the renowned Philadelphia Ballet. Cartoon penguins frolic with world-class ice skaters and a nostalgic performance is given by actors from Philadelphia's historic Walnut Street Theatre.
A magic flying sleigh ride through the Pennsylvania countryside and above the city of Philadelphia is breathtakingly seen on The Comcast Experience video wall, one of the world's largest highest resolution LED displays “ a stunning experience in and of itself.
It is no wonder that the Comcast Holiday Spectacular has attracted over one million visitors since its 2008 debut, making it a must-see holiday tradition for all ages. The Comcast Holiday Spectacular can be seen at the top of each hour at Comcast Center from Thanksgiving Day through New Year's Day.
