Mark your calendars! The longest day of summer is also going to mark a first class event at Sofitel in Philadelphia. FÃSTE de la Musique, which was launched in France in 1982, is a global festival promoting live music, both amateur and professional practices. Chez Colette, one of Sofitel Philadelphia's sophisticated and chic dining experiences is set to hold their own interpretation of the global music party on June 21 at 7:00 pm. This inescapable French holiday celebrates music of all styles, levels, and rhythms and is a celebration that has taken on different forms in all of the 500 cities it is marked in.
In true modern, chic Sofitel style, Executive Chef Jim Coleman has crafted a musically delicious menu to serve to guests at a specialty dinner to mark the occasion. Each course will have an optional wine pairings and the music of the evening will gracefully guide the service. Students from Philadelphia's own world-renowned Curtis Institute will construct the musical translation of the menu and serve as a guide for the dinner.
