Chestnut Hill is lighting up the holidays! Chestnut Hill is not waiting until Black Friday to start the holiday season instead they are naming November 21st Green Friday! They will hold a traditional tree lighting ceremony at Germantown Avenue and Highland Avenue at 5:30 pm, but with new, energy-efficient LED lights! This year Chestnut Hill will have their largest display ever with 135 trees and over 100,000 lights! Green represents more than just the holiday spirit it will also be a celebration of Chestnut Hill's dedication to their eco-friendly “green” initiative. The Mummers will be on hand to kick off the evening – the strut will start at 5:00 pm. Guests can enjoy an evening of warm cookies, hot chocolate, candies, caroling, the Christmas Brass, and special holiday friends! Come to Chestnut Hill to share our holiday traditions!
