At the first sunrise from under the great sea, there were the people of the sun and the land. It was full of decoration, living and not living. We learned the ways that the land could be of use, and through efforts and errors, many moons and few tools, we would endure to growth, to feed, to heal, to fortify these contemporary ways. We join each other in gardens and farms and bond with our individual earths at communal tables to share in these yields. It was through examination of the elders footsteps that a path opened up to me. Ways that could be learned, and stories could be heard.
As the sun faded over the hills in the west, I could still see the works formed in simplified connections, conscious of the land.
