Teddy Bedrossian was an adorable, blond-haired, blue-eyed medically fragile special needs boy. When he was born, doctors predicted that he would only live to be 4 months old. Defying all odds, he lived to be 18 years old. He was strong and courageous throughout his medical journey. His presence brought an indescribable richness to thousands of people. He even helped a school-mate with Autism come out of his 'shell.' Unable to talk or hear, he did this through acts of kindness and a contagious smile. Three years ago, Teddy passed away of kidney failure, touching the lives of so many at Elwyn that a tree was planted in his memory. At the same time, Elwyn realized that it had outgrown its elementary school facilities and committed to build a new school at the cost of $10 million. By participating in The Teddy Bedrossian Ski-a-Thon, you will be benefiting special needs children by helping to fund a new education building on Elwyn's Media campus and supporting the Autism Resource Community Hub (ARCH) of Lehigh Valley. Registration: Teams of 4 must raise a minimum of $500 Individuals must raise at minimum of $150. Register online or contact Anna Sofio at 610-891-2606 or email [email protected] for more information.
