Arden Concerts presents a special record release show with Death by Indie. Perennial (CT) and Mavis the Dog (PA) will also play sets. Doors are at 6pm, bands get started at 8pm. There will be a limited number of vendors + Mutual Aid in the Gild Hall for this event as well.
Death by Indie’s short tenure of a band can be summed up in one word- busy. Releasing four EP’s and one LP in under three years, playing 50 shows across six states, they now excitedly usher in their newest release and sophomore album “7 Day Farmers Market”. A culmination of the band’s tightrope walk between sing song diddy’s, lo-fi instrumental tracks and noise forward rippers, Death by Indie challenges what it means to be rock and roll with the utmost sincerity.
DBI has quickly made a name for themselves in the Wilmington and now Philly local music scene’s with their diverse performance variety and one of a kind sets, thanks to their extensive live catalog and love for unique instruments you’ll never see the same show twice.
They’ve played alongside bands such as Pons, Friend, Sensor Ghost, System Exclusive, John S Hall (King Missile), Joe Jack Talcum (Dead Milkmen), Luxury Skin, and many others you may not yet have heard of, but will someday.
