Hailed “a dance-video tour de force” (Philadelphia Inquirer) at its premiere in 2005, Somewhere Close to Now. depicts a woman who has found a way to dissect time - finding herself in worlds where time behaves quite differently. Leaping in and out of video, this character's expeditions spawned Subcircle's dance film, Here (2008), which was createed as a companion piece to the solo. Here exposes the choreography that moves inside our daily mundane actions.
