MID EVIL
MID EVIL is a solo art exhibition by K-NOR celebrating the visual style of the Middle Ages, a time known for their violent brutality and opulent artworks. The show features a collection of drawings, paintings, animations and interactive installations paying tribute to the dark ages of human history, highlighting their beauty while also serving as a warning for future generations of the magnitude of evil we are capable of within our own hearts.
K-NOR is a Philadelphia-based artist and designer known for painting large scale outdoor pieces which blend macabre imagery with a bright, graffiti inspired color palette and an illustrative execution. His work seeks to explore the darker side of human nature, injecting it with playfulness and a generous dose of sardonic humor.
