Pennhurst Asylum offers a variety of attractions including: Pennhurst Asylum, The Morgue, and The Tunnels. The 1908 landmark was once an infamous state school in Spring City, Pa, that housed those struggling with mental and emotional challenges. The petrifying attraction was mentioned in season four of Netflix’s sci-fi horror series, Stranger Things. The asylum served as a fictitious location mimicking the Pennhurst State School and Hospital. Today, over half of the grounds and attractions are BRAND NEW! Visitors will be surrounded by the original buildings of the Pennhurst State School while getting the scare of their life by talented (and frightening) actors who possess an unparalleled attention to detail in their sets.
