Mega Senior Expo
The Mega Senior Expo, a signature event dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors and caregivers in our community is back with a St Patrick's Day fun theme. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, March 12, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Melbourne Auditorium.
Our mission is simple: to empower you! This event promises to be a one-stop hub offering the tools and resources you and your loved ones need for a better quality of life in your golden years. At the senior expo, we are dedicated to supporting our senior community with resources that cover health, living, recreation, and much more.
Join us for a day packed with fun activities mixed with access to valuable information and engaging community connections aimed at enhancing your quality of life. Discover local services and find tailored options to meet your needs. Knowledge is power when it comes to your health and wellbeing at this age. We also facilitate collaboration with organizations and community resources to connect and educate seniors with essential information to protect themselves from fraud and abuse! Enjoy socializing with other seniors, have your eye glasses cleaned or repaired for free while at the event or participate in the few activities we have planned.
The event is free to attend and will feature live entertainments, health screenings, refreshments giveaways and door prizes. One of the sweet memories of most of these expos was how the attendees would gather each 15 minutes for the raffle drawing. I can still recall the eager faces looking up at the MC as he drew the winning ticket. It was fun to make the day for some lucky seniors!
