"Vanities," by Jack Heifer, is a poignant comedy-drama capturing the lives of three Texan girls: Joanne, Kathy, and Mary. From vivacious cheerleaders in 1963 to uncertain young women in college five years later, and finally, to a strained reunion in 1974, their friendship evolves amidst diverging paths and faded camaraderie.
