Aretha Franklin - Presented by Valerie Tyson
Valerie Tyson grew up listening to Aretha Franklin as a child so it's no surprise that years later she would put together a show to pay homage to one of her favorite singers in the world.
For years she was told, "you look and sound like Aretha" and "you should put together a tribute show to Aretha" and that's what she did! Valerie takes you on a musical journey that showcases many of Aretha's hits including, "I Say A Little Prayer", "Chain of Fools", and of course her signature song "Respect".
In Valerie’s words, "It is an absolute honor to perform the songs from this American icon". She has been labeled as "South Florida's Very Own Queen Of Soul" of which she feels is so cool! Valerie Tyson is "Aretha"! The R.E.S.P.E.C.T. TRIBUTE includes Valerie, a 5 piece back up band and 3 background vocalists.
