Buddha's Birthday Celebration
Come to the largest Buddhist Temple in Central Florida to experience a traditional celebration with beautiful pageantry, a Vegetarian Food & Arts Festival including a Butterfly Meet and Greet, and a program of unique performances.
The traditional Celebration Ceremony is stunning with authentic Asian attire and monastic chanting. For those unfamiliar with this annual celebration, it is must-see. Following the Ceremony, guests are welcome to explore the temple, experience the story of the life of the Buddha, enjoy enticing foods, be entertained with unique performances, and interact with the Bathing Buddha Display.
Guang Ming Temple is celebrating its 31st year bringing Humanistic Buddhism to a diverse community of practitioners stretching from Tampa, through Orlando, to the Space Coast. With activities in Chinese, English, and Spanish, we welcome everyone whether of Eastern or Western background searching for peace and happiness.
