What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? At Florida Ski School we offer a variety of water sports such as waterski, wake surfing and wake boarding. Guests are coached in a privately lesson by professional skier Franck Desboyaux, that still actively competes and is currently ranked #2 in the World! This is the type of coaching you can only get with someone that accumulated years of experience and expertise under his belt! What was the inspiration to start or run this business? As a professional skier, I have a passion about my sport and love sharing my experience and knowledge. I wanted to start a ski school where I had the opportunity to introduce the sport to new people and to the a generation of skiers. With the abundance of lakes in Windermere, it is the ideal setting to teach and get family and friends in the water having fun while learning a new skill.

What do you love the most about your job? It brings me joy to see people overcome their barriers or limitations that they thought they had. Being on the lake and seeing the smile on people’s face as they have fun on the water is what is is all about!

What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer? During my years of coaching I have coached skiers that started from zero, practiced endlessly with me and are now competing for their national team and making podium at pro events and tournaments. As a coach that is passionate about my job, it is absolutely priceless to see this kind of progress and evolution.
