The phenomenal Mystic Dunes Golf Club opened its greens summer of 2001 and is located in the heart of the attractions area on Old Lake Wilson Road/CR545 at the Mystic Dunes Resort and Golf Club. The course was designed by Champions Tour professional and NBC golf analyst, Gary Koch. Challenging yet fun, this course consists of two distinctly different layouts that take advantage of the unique topography, offering the golfer a fantastic and memorable experience. Koch designed the course to be player-friendly, yet rewarding to the strategic golfer. Almost every green is accessible with run-up shots: instead of bunker-infested greens, the special feature being collection areas characterized by unique "bumps and humps."
