Africa Djawa: Africa Rejoicing
African Culture Connection is excited to host our annual community event, Africa Djawa, on May 13, 2023. Africa Djawa, meaning "Africa Rejoicing," is a one-of-a-kind, festive event designed to increase the knowledge of and cultural pride in the history, strengths, and contributions of traditional and modern African cultures.
Africa Djawa promises to immerse audiences in a multicultural world rarely available through a single cultural event. Local, national, and international artists will tell stories of community, diversity, and respect, through dance and drumming performances. Come watch as the African Culture Connection artists walk you through a captivating African story of cultural beauty and African traditions that have had positive influences on our society.
