Omaha Climate Resiliency Summit
Join Conservation Nebraska & Sustainable Creighton for an exciting event focused on climate resilience in Omaha and what you can do in your community.
Event Schedule:
- The Summit will start at 12:30 PM with a Welcome from Conservation Nebraska.
- 1:00 to 4:30 PM: Breakout sessions focused on different aspects of climate resilience.
- 4:30 to 5:30 PM: We will host a reception with hors d'oeuvres to provide you with an opportunity to get to know others in your community who are as interested in these issues as you are!
- 5:30 to 6:30 PM: We are excited to host a panel discussion featuring Omaha leaders discussing the still in-progress Climate Action Plan and what you can do to be engaged.
Breakout Sessions will include:
- Infrastructure resiliency in the Omaha metro
- Native Landscapes in Omaha
- Waste management resiliency
- Energy Innovation
- Water Quality issues in the Omaha metro
