Art in the Park at Heartwood Preserve
Visit Heartwood Preserve on June 29 for an Art in the Park event. This will be a peaceful and inspiring morning, where creativity meets the calm of nature.
Seasoned artists and doodlers alike are welcome. Heartwood Preserve will have everything you need to get your imagination flowing — adult coloring books, sketch pads, coloring pencils, chalk pastels, pastel paper, blank cards, stickers, and more — all free to use!
Let the sights, sounds, and textures guide your art. This event is designed especially for adults seeking a mindful moment, but families are always welcome! No experience necessary, just bring your curiosity and enjoy some creative time in the preserve.
This event is part of Heartwood Preserve’s Sunday Mornings in the Park. Weekly events focus on staying active with family activities, Pups in the Park and more.
Heartwood Park, Omaha’s newest outdoor community gathering space within Heartwood Preserve, is the go-to destination for family and friends every weekend this summer. Enjoy over 70 FREE events on Thursdays through Sundays hosted at Heartwood Park for residents and families who want to unwind, have fun and connect outdoors.
To make visits more enjoyable, the Heartwood Park Ambassador program offers visitors amenities to borrow on-site, including picnic blankets, board games, lawn games and sports gear for all to enjoy. Amenities will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
