ON TOUR - The National Lutheran Choir performs in Sioux Falls
For this year's tour, the NLC will visit churches and friends in three Sibling Cities in the Midwest: Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester, MN; First-Plymouth Church in Lincoln, NE; and First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD.
This eclectic and optimistic program will share sacred choral music that speaks to the cycles of our days and the cycle of faith in our lives. Throughout the program, the NLC's performance will offer opportunities for all to sing hymns together. People of faith as well as people who love great music will all find a place in this journey with the NLC.
Works from Bach, Faure, Olaf Christiansen, Moses Hogan, Andre Thomas, Stephen Paulus, and David Cherwien will be featured alongside a newly-commissioned piece by celebrated composer and conductor, Dr. Marques Garrett.
