Clara Luper Distinguished Speaker Series
The Clara Luper Distinguished Speaker Series honors the legacy of Clara Luper through quarterly thought-provoking discussions on civil rights, social justice, and movements for change. It brings people together to bridge history with the present and fosters learning, connection, and a shared vision for a world without racism and bigotry.
The inaugural event will be an evening of dialogue and reflection exploring Clara Luper’s memoir "Behold the Walls", moderated by the commemorative edition's editor, Dr. Karlos K. Hill, and featuring panelists who are close to the story, including Clara's daughter, Marilyn Luper Hildreth.
