It will feature more than 25 of MJ’s greatest hits, which include “Bad” and “Man in the Mirror,” plus his most influential dance steps in a production brimming with style, theatrics, and soul.
With direction and choreography by Tony awardee Christopher Wheeldon, MJ the Musical follows a distinctly gripping book by 2x Pulitzer Prize titleholder Lynn Nottage, with up-and-coming star Roman Banks in the titular role. Its Broadway debut in 2021 was an immediate box-office hit, earning four Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards, lighting the path to this year’s first-ever nationwide tour.
