OkcBallet Presents: The Nutcracker
Artistic Director Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye’s production of The Nutcracker for Oklahoma City Ballet is a vibrant reimagining of the holiday classic that blends traditional magic with fresh, whimsical twists. Debuting to rave reviews in 2024, this lavish production features challenging choreography, cinematic sets, and over 195 handcrafted costumes designed by some of the industry’s top artisans.
Every performance features Tchaikovsky’s timeless score played by OKCPHIL, with live vocals from Canterbury Youth Voices during the Snow Scene. A sensory-friendly performance in partnership with Autism Oklahoma for families seeking a relaxed theater environment will take place on Monday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m.
