1515 Live Music: Featuring Miss Brown to You and an Art Pop-Up by Brian Nault
Known for their genre-defying style, Miss Brown to You doesn’t confine themselves to a single sound. Instead, they explore and expand the boundaries of every genre they play while honoring the traditions of the musicians who inspire them. Mary Reynolds and Louise Goldberg are masters of an eclectic, adventurous style that few bands attempt, and they seek an audience that appreciates a broad spectrum of musical expression. Join us in celebrating the gift of music!
We are also excited to feature local art dealer Brian Nault in a special art pop-up showcasing his collection of African art. Nault is a dealer of expertly researched, fine examples of authentic African art. He states, “I have always appreciated the influence tribal art has had on the modern art movement. To me, tribal sculpture, utilitarian objects, and masks add the final layer of aesthetic sophistication to any meaningful living space. Hundreds of books on the subject provide an inexhaustible source of learning. As the owner of a tribal object, you are a temporary custodian, preserving it for future generations. Accompanying each historical object with expert documentation helps protect it on its future journeys.”
