Beyond the Call Exhibition Opening
The Suffolk Art Gallery and Suffolk Art League are teaming up for their annual joint spring exhibit, 'Beyond the Call: Art by Military Service Members, Dependents, and Families.' This year we're partnering with the USO and highlighting the abundant creativity of military-affiliated artists, including a special gallery display by featured artist Gus Gusentine. During the celebration of America250 in 2026, it is an opportune moment to highlight the wide-ranging abilities of our dedicated military.
Celebrate this inspiring exhibit with us at the Opening Reception on Friday, May 8, from 6 to 9 PM. Enjoy the first look at the show, an artist talk by Gusentine at 6pm, live music, complimentary food and beverages, and a presentation of awards.
'Beyond the Call' will be on view at the Suffolk Art Gallery, 118 Bosley Ave., Suffolk, from April 28 through June 12, 2026. Visitors of all ages are welcome and encouraged to visit. The Suffolk Art Gallery is free to the public and open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM, Sundays from 1 to 5 PM, and closed on Mondays.
