You are invited to a luncheon on Monday, March 20, at the Stryker Center, near the Williamsburg Regional Library.
A new organization is coming to Williamsburg: The Torch Club of Williamsburg VA. It's a new addition to the International Association of Torch Clubs (IATC), a nearly century-old organization. We'll be bringing professional-- and intellectually curious-- people together monthly, for a dinner meeting. There's always great conversation, plus a thought-provoking presentation on a compelling topic. You'll find the setting pleasant and collegial. We exist for the purpose of sharing knowledge, information, respectful dialogue, and creating opportunities for lifetime friendships.
Meet area Torch members, including a Richmond Torch Club member residing in Williamsburg, who is on the committee to found a Williamsburg Torch Club. Other Torch Club members from Richmond and Hampton Roads will also be at the luncheon to answer your questions about this social group that's more than "just a dinner club". Interdisciplinary lifetime learning, fellowship, and fine dining make a Torch Club the place to expand horizons.
Torch members, who chose to attend our summer convention, will encounter superb presentations, local tours, evening entertainment, and fine meals. They will also meet Torch Club members from across the United States and Canada. Local clubs often have a cosmopolitan feel, as many of our members have lived, studied, worked, or traveled all over the world. For more information about the IATC see Torch.org .
A tasty lunch by Aromas Cafe' will be available at our informational meeting on Monday, 3/20/2023, at 11:30 AM. for a $12 suggested donation. For more information, or to guarantee seating, contact Rod Gerwe at [email protected] .
