Susan Greenbaum in concert at the Shady Grove Coffeehouse
Richmond favorite Susan Greenbaum committed the first sin of musicians: She quit her day job. After working as a corporate executive, Susan traded her power suits for performing. And now her tax return, under "Occupation," reads, "Singer-songwriter."
With five CD releases to her credit, Susan's music receive significant national airplay on Americana, folk and country stations. Country/Americana music website "Roughstock" calls her "a songwriting talent to be reckoned with," comparing her writing and singing to Mary Chapin Carpenter and Bonnie Raitt.
Long a favorite of the Shady Grove audience, we are pleased to present Susan again this season. Don't miss her!
The concert begins at 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 1; doors open at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door. Children 12 and under admitted free of charge; teens 13-18 admitted at half price.
