The Kay and Al Abiouness Advance Care Planning Seminar
You’re invited to the Kay and Al Abiouness Advance Care Planning Seminar on Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. – noon. This FREE event is presented by the Lake Taylor Transitional Care Foundation and features two distinguished local experts: Dr. Marissa Galicia-Castillo, Medical Director of the Macon F. Brock Jr. Palliative Care Medicine Program and Director, EVMS Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology, and Emily Martin, Esq. from the Hook Law Center. Learn about the legal aspects of advance care planning and the importance of having a “COURAGEOUS CONVERSATION” with your loved ones. Write your own advance care plans with your preferences for care with the help of facilitators at the event. There’s no charge to attend but space is limited and registration is requested.
