Free Foster Parent Community Information Session
Free Foster Parent Community Information Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. in Norfolk at the Jordan-Newby Anchor Branch Library at Broad Creek (1425 Norchester Ave, Norfolk, VA 23504-3700): 2nd Floor/Collab B space.
Come learn about the critical need for foster parents in the Tidewater area. This session requires no commitment and will provide detailed information about the children and teens we serve, as well as the extensive training and comprehensive support UMFS offers to prospective foster parents. We'll also discuss next steps if you choose to move forward—now or in the future; in addition to other ways individuals, businesses and churches can become community partners on behalf of youth in out-of-home care right here in Hampton Roads. If you are married or co-parenting with a significant other who lives in your home, we ask that both adults attend the session.
